The Gatineau Olympiques' humbled two goalies as they racked up nine goals against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.
The Olympiques also registered 16 assists. Claude Giroux, Gatineau's captain, led the team with three goals and one assist.
Elsewhere in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, it was: Lewiston 2, Chicoutimi 0; Shawinigan 5, Rimouski 3; Cape Breton 7, St. John's 3; and Saint John 4, Moncton 2.
At Gatineau, Que., Matthew Pistilli added two goals while Darryl Smith, Jean-Philip Chabot, Brett Morrison and Martin Frechette each scored once for the Olympiques (5-1-0-0).
Mathieu Perreault, Dany Masse, Thomas Beauregard and Jonathan Duchesneau added goals for the Titan (2-6-0-0).
Olivier Laliberte stopped 38 shots for the win. At the other end, Maxim Gougeon allowed three goals before being replaced at 13:46 in the first period.
Antoine Tardif, his replacement, made 10 saves and gave up five goals before Gougeon was put back on the ice at 10:02 in the second period.
Gougeon allowed two goals after his return. He saved 20 shots in total.
Maineiacs 2, Sagueneens 0
At Chicoutimi, Que., Jonathan Bernier stopped 22 shots as Lewiston shutout the Sagueneens.
Chad Denny scored an empty net goal in the third and Stefano Giliati also added one for the Maineiacs (4-2-0-0).
Bobby Nadeau made stopped 20 shots for Chicoutimi (2-3-2-1).
Cataractes 5, Oceanic 3
At Shawinigan, Que., Danick Bouchard scored a hat trick as the Cataractes beat Rimouski.
Charles Millette and Tommy Gauthier both added one for Shawinigan (4-1-0-1).
Phillipe Cornet, Maxime Tanguay and Patrice Cormier all scored once for the Oceanic (1-3-2-0).
Marc-Andre Perron saved 33 shots for the win while Tommy Legualt stopped 29 shots at the other end.
Screaming Eagles 7, Fog Devils 3
At Sydney, N.S. Cam Fergus scored twice to lead the Cape Breton over St. John's.
Chris Culligan, Scott Brannon, Jean-Claude Sawyer, Alexandre Quesnel and Nick MacNeil each added a goal for the Screaming Eagles (4-3-0-0).
Mario Kempe, Nick Layton and Joonas Salmi scored for the Fog Devils (2-4-0-0).
Ondrej Pavelec stopped 23 shots for the win, while Devin O'Brien made 30 saves at the other end.
Sea Dogs 4, Wildcats 2
At Saint John, N.B., Christopher DiDomenico had a goal and three assists as the Sea Dogs beat Moncton.
Jonathan Laberge scored an empty net goal at 18:55 in the third period, while Sebastien Rioux and Ryan Sparling each added one for Saint John (2-2-1-1).
Jerome Samson and Christian Gaudet scored for the Wildcats (5-3-0-0).
Maxime Joyal stopped 36 shots for the win, while Jhase Sniderman made 17 saves at the other end.
